Australian record pressing plant located in Sydney, Australia until the demise of the vinyl format in 1991. Modern had its own disc cutting studio, plating, record pressing and label printing facilities and manufactured records for highly esteemed Australian companies such as Hot, Aim, Raven, Au Go Go, Shock, Monkey Music and other independents as well as BMG, EMI and PolyGram once EMI closed their factory. They sold their equipment to All Music Manufacturing. Associated label is Modern Records.
