How do I search for records?

Use the search bar at the top of any page to find records by artist name, album title, or label. You can also browse by genre or use our advanced filters on the Records page to refine your search.

How do I purchase records online?

We use a unique "wantlist" system to ensure accuracy with our vast inventory and provide the best customer experience. Here's how it works:

  1. Sign in with your name and email.
  2. Click the ADD TO WANTLIST button on any record to add it to your wantlist.
  3. Access your wantlist via the "WANTLIST" button in the navigation.
  4. Once you've finalized your selections, submit your wantlist. You can also add comments, like a shipping request.

After submission, our team will locate the records, confirm their condition, calculate shipping (if applicable), and contact you directly for payment. This personalized process helps us manage our 40,000+ records and ensures you get exactly what you're looking for!

What condition are your records in?

With over 40,000 records, we perform a fast visual grading to check the basic condition of each item. We generally avoid selling poor quality records unless they are extremely rare. Many of our records are unplayed deadstock.

Before invoicing, we confirm the final condition of your selected items. If a record requires it, we'll process it through our vacuum cleaning machine upon sale or request. We've received overwhelmingly positive feedback on our grading, and this system ensures you receive high-quality records.

Do you ship internationally?

Generally, we do not offer international shipping directly from this website, as current costs make it poor value. For high-end rare items available to the international market, please check our Discogs account. This site primarily serves our domestic Australian market.

What are your shipping options within Australia?

We primarily use Australia Post for all domestic shipments. Options include:

  • Standard and Express Post
  • Insured options available upon request
  • Automatic insurance up to $100 is included with most parcels.

We can hold selections for up to two weeks to combine shipping and help you save money.

For our Brisbane customers:

  • Free Brisbane metro delivery is available for orders over $50. Please note, we do two delivery runs per week.
  • Local pickup from our store is also available for any order. We can hold your selections for pickup.

What is your return policy?

As an independent record store with unique, one-off items, we generally do not offer refunds or returns for a change of mind. We strive for complete transparency, which is why we confirm the condition of your records before charging you. In the rare event of a glaring, massive problem with an item, we will, of course, arrange a refund.

How can I preview music before buying?

We have an audio player built into our website. When you're on a specific release page, click the "LIST" button on the audio player. If available, you'll see audio sources from platforms like YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal. You can then select songs and add them to a queue, allowing you to play music while you continue browsing the site.

What kind of records do you specialise in?

We heavily specialise in second-hand dance music, boasting one of the largest ranges in Australia (and possibly the world!) for genres like Drum & Bass, Techno, House, Breaks, Psytrance, and Progressive House. While our focus is on used vinyl, we do occasionally stock curated new releases and proudly support local artists. We generally avoid new reissues due to market saturation.

What other services do you offer in-store?

Our physical store features a DJ booth and photography cyclorama space available for hire. We also occasionally host boutique events. Contact us for more information on these services.

Do you sell record accessories?

Yes, we're expanding our range! We will soon be stocking basic, affordable DJ styluses and headshells, inner sleeves, outer cardboard jackets, plastic outer sleeves, slipmats, and cleaning fluid.
