EMI Music Japan Inc (株式会社EMIミュージック・ジャパン, Kabushiki kaisha Īemuai Myūjikku Japan) was incorporated on June 30th 2007. On that day Toshiba sold off its 45% stake in EMI's previous affiliate in Japan, Toshiba-EMI Ltd.
Previously named Toshiba EMI Ltd (東芝イーエムアイ株式会社, Tōshiba Īemuai Kabushiki kaisha), which was also known as Toshiba EMI or TOEMI.
