Industria Fonografica Chilena

Chilean record company and manufacturer, established in Santiago in 1927 by Carl Lindström A.-G. as the Chilean branch of Odeon.

In 1931 after the merger of the labels "Columbia Graphophone Company", "Electrola" and "His Master's Voice" the company EMI was founded (Electric & Musical Industries Ltd.), Due to this, since then the company began to be a branch of EMI, which is why in the 1930s it was renamed "Industrias Eléctricas y Musicales Odeon, S.A."
