Publishing company (holding) of an earlier incarnation of BMG group's music interests (a.k.a. Bertelsmann Music Group; not to be confused with BMG Rights Management). Established in 1987.
Acquired by Universal Music Publishing Group in 2007. Catalogs of certain UMPG subsidiaries were, after that, spun-off and sold to Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, on which Imagem was formed.
