It was established in 1993, when Hauppauge Record Manufacturing Ltd. merged with publicly traded RCL Acquisition. Few years later, in 1995, HMG Digital Technologies Corporation merged with Allied Film Laboratory Inc., creating Allied DT (Allied Digital Technologies).
