U.S. record company (1919-1923). Offices were located at 29 Central Ave., Orange, NJ. Arto was part of a New Jersey conglomerate that included the Standard Music Roll Company, The Standard Press, Inc. and the Standard Paper Box & Tube Company. Recordings were produced at Jones Recording Laboratories (1919-1922), Independent Recording Laboratories (1923) and unknown others. Records were pressed at Arto's plant, which was also used to mold flanges for piano rolls. The Arto Company supplied several minor labels in the early 1920s, including Ansonia, Bell Record, Hytone Phonograph Record, Empire, Cleartone Record.
