The label was founded in 1996 by Radoslaw "Radek" Hawryszczuk and Paul Johnson, with the legal entity incorporating in 1997.
Johnson sold his half of the business to Radek in the late 1990s following the success of Get Get Down but remained part of the Dust Traxx family with his own label, Nocturnal Interludes.
Former employees of the company included Marea Stamper aka The Black Madonna / The Blessed Madonna, Garrett David and Adam Dorfman (Endpoint head).
Dust Traxx, Inc. had four imprints:
Dust Traxx, Endpoint, High Octane Recordings and Nite Life Collective.
The company manufactured and distributed multiple other mostly Chicago-based labels:
