Chicago Trax Recording was founded, owned, and previously managed by Reid Hyams. The studio was known to be continually on the cutting edge of new music and the foundation of the Chicago industrial music and Chicago house music scene. Additionally, the studio worked in all genres and virtually every major label and countless independent record labels. The studio consisted of three major recording studios along with three ancillary recording studios with production and editing suites. Chicago Trax recording earned over 100 music industry awards including Gold/Platinum records and Grammys.
