Despite being never owned by EMI, the European Commission requested to divest it as a requirement for a Sony/ATV-led consortium to acquire EMI Music Publishing. It was, along with "EMI Virgin"-named publishing companies, sold to BMG Rights Management in May 2013. The group of divested music publishing companies was also known as "Rosetta", as it appeared in transitional legal names of these companies.
