The Who's recording studio located at 115 Thessaly Road, London, UK. Founded in 1972 and initially named [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/588374-The-Kitchen-Battersea]The Kitchen[/url], it was soon renamed Ramport Studios. Although originally intended for the personal use of the band, the high build cost meant that the studio would become a commercial facility and quickly established itself as one of the top independent studios in London.
The facility was purchased by Virgin Records and renamed Townhouse 3 in 1983.
