Bought by Sony Music Entertainment Inc. circa 1996, and became a sub-label of Sony Music Entertainment (Argentina) S.A. Microfon is now a trademark of Sony Music Entertainment (Argentina) S.A. (nowadays Sony Music Entertainment Argentina S.A.)
