First recording studio in Vancouver, built by B.C. radio broadcster Al Reusch in 1946. First located at 615 West Hastings St., Aragon moved into a new location at 1234 West 6th Ave. in 1965, built from the ground up as a first class audio recording studio with an orchestral recording room for special sessions by the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC).

1946 - Founded at 615 West Hastings address by Al Reusch with his partners Reo Thompson, Rea Peverley, and G.C. Peverley
1954 - Reusch buys out partners and becomes sole owner.
1965 - Moved to the 1234 West 6th Ave. address
1971 - Reusch sold the studio to Jack Herschorn's CanBase Productions Limited who renamed it Can-Base Studios.
1977 - Can-Base renames studio to Mushroom Studios, Vancouver.
1999 - Purchased and operated by John Wozniak
2006 - The building (but not the equipment) was purchased by Rob Darch who renamed the studio Hipposonic Studios.
2010 - operating as Afterlife Studios
