American songwriter, composer, musician, and promoter.
Born: February 11, 1912 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
Died: December 30, 2004 (age 92) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Farrow began his music career as a concert violinist. He composed more than 200 songs, including the Italian standard "I Have But One Heart". Farrow was also a promotion executive for Joy Music and Valando/Sunbeam Music. While also composing songs, he was a song plugger for vaious firms including Oxford Music and was manager for Walt Disney Music Company.
He charted twice with the song "I Have but One Heart (O Marinariello)", (co-written by Marty Symes). The song charted first by Vic Damone hitting #13 and then by Frank Sinatra hitting #7--both in 1947.
