Janice Robinson
Real Name: Janice Lenora Robinson
American house/R'n'B/pop singer/songwriter, born 8 December 1967 in Garfield, New Jersey.
Robinson was part of Snap!'s first world tour in the early 1990s when she was introduced to various producers in Italy and decided to relocate to Milan. A solo tour and several collaborations followed, notably with the Visnadi brothers for their Livin' Joy project. The track for which Robinson is best known, 134971, was written on a train from Milan to Venice while listening to the track on her Walkman. A new version of Dreamer was released in February 2022 with American DJ and producer Joseph Lodato.
Robinson is an English teacher in Immokalee, Florida.
