Will Sin

Real Name: William Sinnott

Will Sinnott (December 23, 1960 – May 23, 1991, La Gomera, Spain) was a Scottish musician and producer. Sinnott joined The Shamen in October 1987 as the bassist; he was influential in The Shamen's switch from psychedelic indie rock to the electronic sound they found fame with.
In May 1991, The Shamen travelled to the Canary Islands to record the video for the chart-bound reissue of Pro>Gen (now titled 69404). On the 23rd May, with the video completed, Will Sinnott decided to go for a swim off the coast of La Gomera, near Tenerife. In the hazardous waters, he was pulled under by a strong current and drowned. He was aged 30.
