Haji B
Real Name: Bruce "Haji B" Saidi
Bruce aka "Haji B" was a Los Angeles mobile DJ, who found his way into the recording studio in the mid 90's as a recording engineer working under the great Tony Papa. He then moved into a A&R position at Street Life/Scotti Bros records under the tootalige of Eric B, VP of Street Life records, where he brought in Craig Mack who had moderate success on his Sophomore Album. Haji B signed Focus, aka Bernard Edwards Jr. to Street Life, he saw greatness in him, and while Focus didn't pursue his solo career, he went on to be an incredible producer and is still banging them out today with numerous gold records under his wing. Haji also worked with Brett Mazur aka DJ Epic of Crazy Town, who was an incredible talent and remix producer for BBD, MC Serch, Laquan, Blood of Abraham and many more. Streetlife Records folded around 1997.
