Bobby Shaw

Promoter / manager of disco and dance music dating back to the 1970s. Started at TK Records in 1978. Joined Warner Bros sublabel RFC Records in 1979 and stayed on with WB through 1984 where he most notably worked with Madonna helping set up her early club gigs and was her promotion person for Everybody, Physical Attraction, Holiday, and Burning Up. He joined MCA Records in 1984 where he worked his way up to Vice President Of Dance Music Promotion. In 1999 he started his own company, Bobby Shaw Promotions.
