Denny Purcell

American mastering and lacquer cutting engineer, born February 11, 1950 and died August 22, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Known for working at Woodland Studios where his work can often be identified by his initials "DNP", "DP", "dp" or "denny" etched in the runout area. In those cases, please credit with Lacquer Cut By. Warning: the cursive "denny" (which looks like 𝒹𝑒𝓃𝓃𝓎), is often mistaken for "Jenny". Do not attempt to render cursive writing when adding BaOI.
