Youri Balcers

Producer, DJ and audio engineer from Lessines, Belgium. Co-founder of [l4131] with his childhood friend and fellow Lessinian, Gael. He moved to Berlin around 2000 and was taught disc cutting at Dubplates & Mastering, before coming back to Brussels to set up his own dub cutting and mastering studio Transfermastering, which went out of business in 2013. Afterwards he also worked at [l261787], Studio Garcia and Stempel Films as a freelance engineer. In 2016 he founded Himeta Technologies, a company that develops to ascertain correct ownership data on sound recordings.
