American R&B/Soul singer and songwriter, from Queens, New York.
Her career began in the 70s with Shades Of Love but she owes her success as a singer for High Fashion. Her first solo hit single was a cover of Prince Paul's "Do Me Baby" in 1985 while her first solo album was released in 1986. She has dueted with MC Duke and Freddie Jackson.
