American soul singer (born, January 17,1945, in Washington, D.C, died, July 14, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA) - songwriter aka William "Pookie" Hart. Founding member of the original trio The Delfonics.
He co-wrote their first hit single 'La La Means I Love You', along with Thom Bell.
Brother of Wilbert Hart.
