Real Name: Norma Ann Winstone MBE

English jazz vocalist, born 23 September 1941 in Bow, London.
Winstone is a jazz singer and lyricist well known for her English singing voice, over a career spanning more than 40 years. She is best known for her wordless improvisations, and has appeared on many classic British jazz albums of the 1960s and 1970s, continuing her career to the present day.
She was awarded an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in 2007 for services to music.

Married to John Taylor from 1972; the couple later divorced, their sons are Alex Taylor (13) and Leo Taylor.
