American rhythm and blues and jazz-funk fusion group, inspired by trumpeter Donald Byrd.
Formed in Washington, D.C., in 1973, & released seven original albums and one remixes compilation for Fantasy between 1974 and 1980.
Reformed in 2012 by Keith Killgo.
