Real Name: Deborah Gray

American singer, born September 14, 1952 - died November 19, 2024.

She began her career touring with Harry Belafonte, then worked on numerous projects with other background singers such as Vivian Cherry, Gwen Guthrie and Lani Groves. She was chosen by Kenny Lehman to work on the the first Chic album released in 1977. She also did lead and background vocals for Jacques Fred Petrus' Fatboy Slim project. This brought her to the attention of Columbia executives which lead to the Diva Gray & Oyster album, 20212822.
