Chris Tsangarides

British producer, sound engineer, musician and label owner of Greek Cypriot origin (7 August 1956 – 7 January 2018).

Started his career in 1974 as tape operator at Morgan Studios. When the studio was rechristened Battery Studios, London in 1980, he became in-house producer. Even though active in a variety of genres, in this period he became renowned for his work with hard rock and heavy metal acts.

In the early 2000s he started his own studio named [l361621] / [l449441], followed by [l2872754] and The Ecology Room.

He played the piano, trumpet and guitar. Co-founder of [l688846].
