Nick Mason

Real Name: Nicholas Berkeley Mason

British drummer (born January 27, 1944 in Birmingham, United Kingdom), most famous as founding member of Pink Floyd in 1965. He is the only group member to have performed on each and every one of their albums. In 2018, he formed [a6711335] to perform Pink Floyd's early psychedelic material, prior to Dark Side Of The Moon. He's also famous for being a car fanatic and has published 3 books about cars (with Mark Hales) and one about Pink Floyd. He has collaborated with a number of jazz musicians, e.g. [a250036] or Robert Wyatt, and has produced a number of albums for other acts.
Do not confuse with the much younger American session drummer and percussionist with the name Nick Mason.
