Real Name: Al McLaran, Jr.

Producer, former head of A&R and Dance Music Promotions at Warlock Records.

During his tenure at Warlock, Al “T” was responsible for such releases as the ultimate NY dance compilation, "WarParty", featuring tracks from Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Marley Marl and many more NYC DJ/Producers. Royal House, "Can U Party", The Jungle Brothers “Straight Out the Jungle", Tuff Crew’s “Danger Zone” and "Back To Wreck Shop”. He discovered platinum recording artists such as Prince B (PM Dawn) and jazz saxophonist Kim Waters. He was influential in the development of Blackwatch’s X-Clan, Isis (aka Lynn Que) and Unique and Dashan. He brought Troy Taylor and Charles Farrar together who then became the multi platinum production team “The Characters”. He was also behind the importing of A Guy Called Gerald’s “VooDoo Ray”, Longsy D’s “This is Ska", The Stereo MC’s, Ritchie Rich and GoldTop. Also under his charge at Warlock, probably the most influential artist in dance music during the late 80’s early 90’s, was Grammy nominated remixer and producer Todd Terry.
