Gerald Alston

US North Carolina-born soul singer, born Nov. 08 1951 in North Carolina.
Lead singer of the Manhattans (1971 - 1988). Alston signed with Motown in 1988.
His biggest solo hits are "Take Me Where You Want To" (1988), "Slow Motion" (1990) and "Getting Back Into Love" (1990).
