Larry Davis

Real Name: Lawrence Davis

Horn and string arranger, multi instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, originally from Philadelphia, based and active in Florida since the late 80s.

Larry Davis started as a session musician (trumpet, bass, etc.) for funk and disco releases in the 70s and became horn and string arranger for Bunny Sigler and a member of The Salsoul Orchestra, Instant Funk and Gypsy Lane (studio backing band for several acts of Can't Stop Productions - eg Village People, The Ritchie Family).

He then wrote and arranged music for Philadelphia International Records productions during the 80s. After relocating to Florida, he became in house producer / mixer and songwriter for Hot Productions projects, mainly in association with Joe Stone and Paul Klein under the collaborative monicker DSK and assorted aliases. As such, he was active with the Miami Bass Music scene.

Still a resident of Florida, he is playing music with a revived Gypsy Lane.
