Masterminds

Masterminds is a New York-based hip-hop trio known for their intellectual lyricism and socially conscious themes. The group consists of Oracle (35) aka (Tarik Holder), The Capital K aka Kimani Rogers, and EPOD aka Quentin Harris, who first connected as students at Wesleyan University in 1994. Blending underground hip-hop aesthetics with thought-provoking storytelling, Masterminds gained recognition in the late 1990s and early 2000s with releases like The Underground Railroad (2000). Their music often explores political, philosophical, and everyday struggles, making them a respected name in the conscious hip-hop scene.
