Pain In Da Ass

Pain In Da Ass

Real Name: Wayne Hirschorn

Wayne ‘Pain In Da Ass’ Hirschorn started his music industry career as an intern at Roc-A-Fella Records after a chance meeting with Dame Dash. He remembers seeing the early-Roc crew at nightclubs in New York buying out the bar, and knew he wanted to join them. He was a big fan of gangster movies and adopted a criminal’s harsh personality, running around the Roc offices cursing and shouting. Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke found this funny, and pushed Hov to include Pain on his debut album Reasonable Doubt.

Pain is found on most of the 90s Roc-A-Fella Records albums performing the introductions by quoting gangster film dialogue.
