Leon Barzin

Léon Barzin (27 November 1900, Brussels, Belgium — 29 April 1999, Naples, Florida) was an American conductor and the New York City Ballet's founding musical director. Between 1925 and 1929, he served as a violist in the New York Philharmonic orchestra.
