Real Name: Peter Tsotsi Juma

Peter Tsotsi Juma (1932 – 2000), born Peter Juma was a Zambian songwriter, singer and musician. Interested in music at a young age, Juma traveled to Tanzania in 1949 in order to pursue a career in music. Juma eventually moved to Kenya to pursue further music opportunities and there met Nashil Pichen Kazembe. Together, they formed the Congo River Kids Band and later the influential [a3237932]. Juna later returned to Zambia around 1980. In 1981 he signed a record contract with [l378166] for whom he produced a number of singles through the 1980's. Like many Zambian artists, the 1990's saw the end of his career with the wane of the Zambian music industry. He passed away from complications of Malaria in Kabwe, Zambia in 2000.
