Real Name: Frank Lee Johnson

American soul singer, songwriter, producer, radio show host.
Host of the radio show The Frank-O Smooth Soul Show. Also a columnist and label owner (Phat Sound Records). His songs have been covered by singers like Bobby "Blue" Bland and Willie Clayton. He first recorded at 14 and was eventually on the Motown team, writing songs for the likes of The Supremes and Bobby Womack.
His songs "Gonna' Get You" (recorded by The Temptations), "I'm Not Strong Enough" (Aretha Franklin) and "I've Been Doing Wrong So Long, It Just Comes Natural" (Thelma Houston) were nominated for Grammy awards.
He has produced artists like Johnnie Taylor, Ernie Johnson and Gwen McCrae.
