Real Name: The Ohio Untouchables

Formed in 1959, the Ohio Untouchables were a Detroit-based backing band for The Falcons and Benny McCain. They recorded "Love Is Amazing" in 1963. In 1964, they moved to New York as the house band for Compass Records, Inc. In 1968, they changed their name to the Ohio Players and became an "autonomous" band.
