This compilation of worker choirs was recorded during May and June 1985 at various locations in Natal and the Transvaal, in South Africa. The members of each choir are also members of FOSATU (the Federation of South African Trade Unions, recently expanded and renamed COSATU). They sing of their struggle, their frustrations and the strength they feel within their union.
