Established in 1990 through a merger between Alfa Moon, Inc. and Mother & Children Inc.
The name 'MMG' comes from the initials of its sublabels; [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/75132-Moon-Records-5] Moon Records[/url], Mother & Children, and [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/821918-Garland-2] Garland[/url].

In 1993 it was renamed to East West Japan Inc.
