The label was home for such artists as Uriah Heep, Colosseum, The Damned, Girlschool, Hawkwind, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Motörhead, Sally Oldfield, Osibisa and Phenomena. Initially distribution was through Island Records, and from 1977 through EMI, changing again to Polydor in 1980.
