Record company - Not a label! - founded by 101 Strings in 1964, who bought the Somerset catalog from David L. Miller. Now defunct, it is also known as Alshire International. Please use the label as displayed on your release, either Alshire Records or A/S Records.
In 1973, Alshire Records established a facility for manufacturing their own product and that of related labels, including a vinyl pressing plant. The firm became an audio CD and DVD duplication company in 1995. In 2006 it was acquired by Reel Picture Productions, LLC from San Diego and has been completely absorbed by the new owners.
