Twisted America Records Records

House label founded by Rob Di Stefano and Mark Davenport. A successor label to Di Stefano's TRIBAL America which emerged when IRS Records, an EMI subsidiary, was shut down. MCA Records distributed Twisted America until shortly after the MCA and PolyGram families of labels merged to create the Universal Music Group. Thereafter, it returned to EMI distribution under its reissue label the Right Stuff, which released several maxi-singles, most notably remixes of several classic Yōko Ōno tracks. via Discogs →
