House label founded in 1989 by Mark Rogers from Hollywood Beyond. From a 2020 interview with Rogers: "After I left Warners me and my best friend at the time formed a dance label called Freetown Inc to release house music. I moved to New York and put out records by people like Robert Owens and Jamie Principle as well as ones under my own name." Mark co-owned the label until 1994 when Sangki Yuh aka Sangki-yuh became the label head and financier. Freetown Inc folded in 1998 when Sangki died in a car accident with John Robinson.
