Metropolitan Recording Corporation

US Freestyle/House label founded by Jerry R. Salerno and Vincent J. Politan in 1988 when they were both undergraduates at Stanford University. In 1991, For almost two years Freestyle disappeared from the world. During this time, Metropolitan Recording Corporation entered into a deal to create a new songs with artist/producer Adam Marano. A compilation later appeared titled "Viper's Freestyle Hit Parade," and more Volumes followed along. Metropolitan Recording Corporation later shut down in early 2009 since Jerry R. Salerno started working for law instead, but in Mid 2024 Vincent J. Politan started to start up the label again.
Metropolitan shares the same address as Salerno's Sun Plastics Company, Inc. from where it manufactured and distributed multiple labels.
