Earlier Spanish division of Virgin Records Ltd., established October 19,1983 in Madrid (although seemingly not releasing until early 1984). In the first 90s it was renamed as Virgin Records España, S.A.
First distributed by Ariola Eurodisc S.A., since late 1986 by Polygram Ibérica, S.A., and since 1989 by Discos CBS, S.A., Madrid.
Ediciones Musicales Virgin España, S.A. publishing company related.
