United Recordings (Also appears as United (16)) started in March 1998 and was founded by Theor Verplancke and Rob Bouhuis together with Marcel Nothdurft and Ton Vermeulen from Vernoth Music. Theor and Rob both gained experience at highly acclaimed Outland Records in Amsterdam. Vernoth Music is well known for its labels Touché and Pssst with artists like Laidback Luke, Jark Prongo, Trancesetters, Basco, Chocolate Puma, Riva and The Good Men.
