Reuveni Bros. Records
Hebrew - אחים ראובני. The Reuveni Brothers company was founded in 1963 by Meir Reuveni, selling electronics, appliances, and cassette recordings in the Hatikva neighborhood of Tel Aviv. In 1966 the store began to sell records and bootleg cassettes of Greek music. In 1974, a live cassette recording of the group Tszliley Hakerem (Sounds of the Vineyard), recorded at Asher Reuveni’s wedding, began to circulate and created a huge demand for party music mixing Greek, Jewish, and Yemenite styles. via Discogs →
