Stardust

US label started around September 1953.

It's first offerings were 4 Carmen McRae singles. It was headed by Len Frank who was already involved in several other aspects of the record industry. Chuck Darwin was named the GM of the new label.

The label was started with an affiliation to Raleigh Records, Inc. which was owned by Len Frank. So, unless otherwise identified, most Stardust releases are most likely pressed by Raleigh.
