[b]Sparrow[/b] is an American label founded in 1976 by [a909502].
In 1985, The Sparrow Corporation signed a distribution and promotion deal with [l654] and the Capitol logo began appearing on releases distributed beyond the Christian bookstore market.
If the Capitol logo appears on release, [l=Capitol Records] can be entered as an additional label.
Purchased by [l118508] in Oct, 1992. In 1994, [l118508] moved Sparrow Records under the [l278293] division of its new [l70556] (now [l911251]).
The stylized Sparrow logo was introduced in 1990. Any album originally released before that date that has the new logo is a post 1989 reissue.
