Digital Audio Technologies Australia (D.A.T.A.) was a CD and cassette factory established in 1992 in Sydney, Australia as a joint venture between EMI and Warner Music Australia. It was sold to Summit Technology Australia Pty Ltd (Transmat) on December 31, 2004, and sold again to Discworld (DW (2)) in 2014.

Identification: This profile can be identified and credited when its logo is found on the disc label or in the disc matrix.

Mastering SID code: IFPIL 311
Mould SID code: ifpi 2661

LCCN roles:
Glass Mastered At - with IFPIL 311 present
Pressed By - with ifpi 2661 present, OR with no mould SID code present but with D.A.T.A.'s logo on the disc label

Please note:
1) Many disc manufactured before D.A.T.A. acquired in-house glass mastering equipment will carry its logo on the disc label plus/minus ifpi 2661. These often carry matrix information from overseas glass masters. A Pressed By role can be assigned to D.A.T.A. in such cases.
2) D.A.T.A.'s logo continued to appear on disc labels after it was acquired by SM due to later represses using "legacy" artwork templates. For this reason, D.A.T.A. should not be credited based on its logo on the disc label when the disc matrix information indicates a Transmat or DW (2) pressing.
