Founded in 1991 by MK and his then-managers Mark Davenport and Marci Weber.
Dormant from the mid-1990s until it was relaunched in 2016 in partnership with Davenport and Weber's management company MDM Artists.
MK parted ways with MDM in 2020. Area 10 releases are now licensed to Sony Music Entertainment UK Limited and Ultra Records LLC.
Area 10 is also a MK alias.
